A Visa Debit Card lets you access your accounts at Automated Teller Machines the same way a regular ATM card does, but a Visa Debit Card is also accepted at millions of merchant locations worldwide and can be used for purchases on the Internet or by phone. You can’t do that with just an ATM card!
With a Visa Debit Card, you’ll enjoy all the clout and convenience of a credit card but without finance charges because the money comes directly out of your checking account. Courtesy Pay is a program whereby the credit union may honor and pay your checks, other paper items, electronic ACH debits, Visa Debit Card transactions, preauthorized automatic internal loan payments and Bill Pay payments drawn against non-sufficient or unavailable/uncollected funds in your Checking Account so that these items are not returned unpaid.
The Courtesy Pay program cannot be applied for and is made available only to members in good standing who meet specific qualifying criteria. Not all members may qualify. The credit union reserves the right to limit the number and dollar amount of items that are paid under Courtesy Pay and does not guarantee payment of any item drawn against insufficient funds. Courtesy Pay is not available on Teen Access Accounts or Money Market Accounts. The Courtesy Pay program may be discontinued by the credit union at any time without prior notice to you.
Overdraft Protection transfers from your Savings Account to cover non-sufficient funds items payable against your Checking Account (as stated in the Overdraft Protection section) will occur before the Courtesy Pay program is extended to you.
An NSF Fee will be charged for each item paid. This Fee is debited to your Checking Account. Members are required to repay the credit union for all account overdrafts resulting from our decision to pay any item under the Courtesy Pay program, or otherwise, in a timely manner. Account overdrafts are subject to collection and/or other legal remedy if funds to rectify the account overdraft status are not received within ten (10) calendar days. The credit union reserves the right to transfer available funds from your other credit union accounts to cover any account overdraft.

If funds in your Checking Account are not sufficient to cover checks, other paper items, electronic ACH debits, Visa Debit Card transactions, preauthorized automatic internal loan payments or Bill Pay payments drawn against your Account, those checks may be covered by automatic transfers from your Share Savings Account.
Overdraft Protection transfers from your Savings Account will be made in the exact dollar amount necessary to cover the overdraft. Transfers from savings accounts are limited to a maximum of six (6) per calendar month, including preauthorized electronic funds transfers and transfers initiated via audio response and Internet banking.

The credit union offers incoming and outgoing domestic (U.S. only) wire transfer services so you can send and receive funds electronically between financial institutions.
To receive Incoming Wire transfers, you need to provide the sending financial institution the Credit Union's routing transit number (322076233), your Member Number, and the name your account is listed under.
To send Outgoing Wire transfers, you must complete and sign a Wire Transfer Request Authorization form* and go into a branch.
Requests for outgoing wire transfers must be received by 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time in order to be processed the same day. Wires will not be sent without verification.
Please note that each financial institution sets its own cutoff times for requests for wire transfers. If you are expecting a wire transfer and it was sent from another financial institution before their cut off time, then funds should be credited to your account no later than 4 p.m. that same day. If your wire was sent after their cut off time, your funds will not be available until the next business day. AFTRA-SAG FCU credits all received wires prior to 4 p.m. daily.
*Verbal and email requests will not be fulfilled without the completed Wire Transfer Request Authorization form. Further verification may be required.
